So its thinner, has a shiny black back (why?) . . . all other Apple top of the range products are aluminium. . .hmmm

5 HOURS of 3G talk time (normally 3 hours for other phones). 300 hours standby. Browsing 5-6 hours. Video 7 hours. Audio: 24 hours
The new phone will be available officially in 70 countries in the coming months
The 8Gb iPhone 3G will be $ 199 . . . .wow - OK now I see why they use plastic, 16gb is $299 you can get this in white too if you want.
It will be available in 22 countries on July 11th . . . . . . So no prizes for guessing when Firmware 2.0 or mobile me will go live then.
The price will BE THE SAME across the globe . . . . now that is cool
